Old Man`s Cave General Store in Logan

Ice cream was awesome 41 flavors of soft serve at a great price.And many other great products, definitely worth the stop.

We stopped for ice cream-- wonderful!

Nice that it is near the campgrounds. Little pricey for some things.

Small but plenty of choices. I was thrilled to get a small soft serve cone.

Lots of soft serve ice cream flavors to choose from as well as most of the essentials needed for camping.... Like salt/pepper, albeit pricey... Which is expected. But NO public restroom, So don't get your hopes up. But the old man cave is real close And it has plenty of public restrooms. They did have firewood for sale and the ice cream was awesome. They also had something I hadn't seen in a long time. They had two life size Pepsi posters of Brittany Spears and Michael Jackson.

This litte store is a gem nestled in the hills. The sandwiches are delicious

My kids and I love stopping here after a day of hiking. They have cold drinks, good eats and EVERY kind of soft serve ice cream you could think of. It is all delicious have not had a kind that we did not like. I really recommend this place to locals and tourist alike.

Every kind of soft serve ice cream u would ever want! The proprietors were very friendly & knowledgeable! They have many things u need when camping that u may have forgotten & they r convienently located in the heart of Hocking Hills.

We had to wait in a very long line to pay for our items. Most were there for ice cream. We were not. Maybe a separate line for ice cream. We wanted to order food but didn't want to be there in that mess another second.

No restrooms. They were taking tourist $$ but refusing to provide a basic service. Shame on you, we left. We will not give our $$ to a business that is all take. 👎🏼

They close at 8pm, but when we arrived at 6.30, they had already shut the ice cream machine down for the night.

This is a little General Store that packs a big punch if you are staying in the area and need something. The selection is vast considering the size and location, so before you head to say, Walmart, try this place. Also, let's say they dont have what you NEED, you can always grab a soft serve cone (dozens upon dozens of flavors) and take that and a smile on your face as you head to Walmart. It's really a win win situation. Also, they have deli sandwiches that are delicious. As with most "convenience" stores there is often and up charge. The prices here were on par with other stores, if not better. And did I mention they have dozens of softserve flavors.

Nice store, good ice cream, good pizza...The natural beauty of old man cave was awesome, the crowds of people were not. Before we entered the trail head, the park ranger was reminding people to stay on the designated trail and stay out of the water... More than half the people completely ignored the instructions and let their kids climb all over the place outside the trail, wade in the water, etc. You can see evidence all over the place where the banks of the stream are worn from people traffic. Seems like the park is too lax on enforcement of the rules and it is showing. Too bad because it is a very beautiful stop and worthy of many "Kodak moments".

This place has a lot for a little store and some good ice cream but be ready for a line, they move fast on the inside so it's not a long wait.

It was an awesome experience. They have great ice cream, milk shakes, and root beer floats among all lot of other items and souvenirs. I highly recommend if you're in the area to stop by and check them out

Great software lots of tastey flavor

Very yummy ice cream, we went twice! They take vanilla ice cream and mix it with a flavor then press it into a typical soft serve ice cream cone. The signs are little unsure of themselves, they advertise 24 flavors AND 40 flavors...not sure how many they have but they do have a lot of them and they area posted around the store. There are flavors like peanut butter, bubble gum, cotton candy, tutti fruitti, lemon, lime, orange, strawberry, raspberry, cheesecake, pistachio, amaretto, German chocolate cake, cake batter, etc. A baby cone is $1.75, a small (a good size) is $2.50, and a large is $3.00 with a waffle is $3.50. Add sprinkles or another flavor for 50 cents. They also have root beer floats, sundaes, and milkshakes. The people there are very nice and helpful. It is about 2 miles from Old Man's Cave. We look forward to going again when we are down in the Old Man's Cave area.

No matter what ice cream flavor you get it tastes like vanilla. I dont recommend this place for the ice cream because it is a major disappointment.

Cute little place! Just an fyi, this place currently requires masks and only allows 6 people at a time. It's a good place to get ice cream and snacks!

They have the best ice cream fast friendly people all their food especially made for you on the spot and the prices are decent not really a tourist trap more like a local owned and operated store for the people that live around there but they treat you right They appreciate your business and I want you to come back so we did a few times cheesecake ice cream apple pie ice cream did I mention their ice cream was good 😋

Went here last week on my visit to Old Man’s Cave just for ice cream. Wish there was more seating as it was fairly crowded and didn’t have many places to sit. The ice cream had many flavors and was very delicious, but they were out of Chocolate, Strawberry and Peanut Butter when we went which was disappointing as most of us wanted Chocolate.

The BEST sprinkles to icecream ratio ever! No sprinkle dipping cup required. They mix them right into the icecream, but no so much they blend into the icecream. Wonderful stop on the way back to camp.

We took my 8 year old and 6 year old for the first time today to visit the waterfalls and caves. We stopped at the general store for a cool treat afterwards because we saw they sold soft serve ice cream. 24+ flavors. It was delicious. And the prices were affordable. We thought it was going to be much more expensive. I recommend stopping there for some amazing soft serve ice cream. :)

The guy working inside the store was very unpleasant. Ice cream was good tho.

Go there everyday any try a different flavor of soft serve. I think they have 24 different flavors!

Friendlier staff would go a long way

Awesome ice cream and shakes. Line gets crazy long so be ready to wait a bit for your ice cream. I went summer 2019 and was about $4 for a large and shakes like $5.

This place is getting five stars just for the soft serve. Absolutely fantastic. I'd drive from Columbus just to get an ice cream cone here if I wasn't down here so much already. It's awesome. Get a maple nut cheesecake cone with chocolate sprinkles mixed in. You can thank me later.

Good service. They have a little of everything. Fresh deli pizza and burgers. Tons of ice cream. .

The place to stop. After a day of hiking, stop by for ice cream or lunch. They have ready made deli sandwiches, beer, wine, and basic groceries. Nice porch to enjoy after visiting the park.

Loved the ice cream !!!But we waited about 15/20 minutes to get in the store because only 2 people at a time due it covid 19 !!

The soft serve is awesome! So many great flavor combinations-you can mix the flavors!! I tried lemon/raspberry, german chocolate/peanut butter and chocolate brownie/cheesecake. Highly recommend stopping for the ice cream!!
